Maruti Swift Safety Features

Maruti Swift Engine
Under the bonnet, it is powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine, which generates 90 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. This engine option comes with five-speed manual and five-speed AMT transmission. Apart from this, it is also offered in CNG version, where the same engine option generates 77.5 bhp and 98.5 Nm of torque. The CNG option is only offered with a five-speed manual transmission.
It also gets engine start stop function for more fuel efficiency.
The company claims that this engine gives a mileage of 22.38 kmpl with manual transmission and 22.56 kmpl with AMT transmission. Whereas the CNG version has a claimed range of 30.90 km.
